Dite Studio is an independent production company based in Somerset, making films rooted in the detail of the everyday.

DITE stands for Detail In The Everyday — a belief that the most interesting stories aren’t always found in the extraordinary, but in the small moments, people and places that make up everyday life.

We make commercials, branded films, documentaries and original work, collaborating with directors, creatives and brands to create films that feel honest, cinematic and full of character.

Based in the South West, we’re inspired by the landscape around us, but our work isn’t tied to one place. We work wherever a good story takes us, bringing a considered, hands-on approach to every production.

We like films that feel observed rather than manufactured. A glance, a gesture, a strange little detail, a conversation that wasn’t quite meant to be overheard. Those are often the things that make a film feel real.

Our productions are collaborative and intentionally lean, giving us the freedom to stay close to the story and make decisions based on what the film actually needs — not simply how things have always been done.
